Don't think so let me look I may be able to help out with that.
I was reading some old post from as and some said perfect fit others said trim to fit and others said dont ruin the saw lol.
If you're talking about putting the 272 clutch cover on that 670 you bought, yes, it fits the way it is. But if you're gonna paint it red like a jred and want to make it look right, if you cut the tail off on an angle it'll look just like the jred cover

Not yet. I was looking at the timberjack myself and will end up w/one. I just don't know if it'll be theirs or one of a couple with a better known brand name/track record from Baileys... Either way, YES it should be a great back and chain saver. I'm pretty good about not grounding my chains but jacking the whole log in the air has to help even more, shy of having a 4x4 FEL tractor with a grapple...

I think a timberjack will be great. Its often difficult to impossible to rotate logs in crowded hedgerows.

Did you go to the west Kellogg store? I was about to leave before I noticed a 4 or 5 foot peavy at the end of the aisle and around the corner. I saw it by accident. That store isn't well organized. Think it was $50. I want one but I've yet to hear feedback on this brand.

0118172129.jpg Ironton 48" peavey, massive handle, looks well made and worth a shot for 32.99. This is the one Northern Tool sells for 49.99. Their website showed the 32.99 online sale price but the store matched it. That's a .325 16" bar for size comparison. Beefy handle.

Mono SL-145 built for MW. Has an AH-47. It's the center saw. The others are SL-245"s.

Looks nice Brett, I have a peavey and a can't hook and I use my can't hook more than my peavey. Words of advice, don't shim the hook, let it flop side to side and make sure the point of the hook is really really sharp.
