Oh wow so no damage to the saw ? I dont have that problem because all my stuff is cheap crap and the key is cast in to the fly wheel
no damage at all. I was scared tho till I realized metal flying at me and free spinning flywheel didn't mean engine failure lmao

Make sure it didn't take the coil out flopping around on there.
Use a cordless impact on the flywheel nut.
Just a quick rap, don't pour the coals to it.

I just hit it a couple times with my DeWalt xr brushless I probably should have used my less powerful Makita. Definitely wasn't gonna use my air impact

It's hard for me to beat my dad's saws lol he had a 390xp ported to the max and now he has a 576xp done the same way. Bet my 660 won't even touch it. But you never know

You are right, it won't (touch the ported 390). We know. It probably won't touch the 576 with less than 32-36" bar either.
