just got a t-handle t27 and tightened the jug more. Fixing to put the pull start on and actually pull it over 8 or 9 times. Then go from there. Since the squish is .060 I'm going to take the base gasket out and deck the jug .020 I got some permatex ultra copper for a base gasket. I know that's not a good idea but it's the best I can get short notice.

537 25 13-02 is the clamp and bulkhead kit. That number is off a package I have from about 2004, hope it's still good.

Any auto parts will have Permatex Motoseal, or Anaerobic Sealer, both of which would be suitable for that application, unlike the silicone you plan to use.

Put it back together with no base gasket and it shows .028 squish. Going to deck the cylinder .010 and call it good to go. Going to check compression at this point for fun

Nothing wrong with .028" squish on a 92cc saw. Delete the gasket and run it
