I first did it with the decomp valve on the jug and put the compression gauge in the spark plug hole. Showed maybe 30 psi. Yes the rings are on and in the correct position on the piston. then dropped some oil in the cylinder from the top and I put the spark plug in and used the decomp hole for the compression gauge since I have an adapter that fits it. Still 30 psi or so. Idk why. Squish of .060 causing super low compression? Didn't think it would be that bad.

yes in the end that goes in the cylinder it's got a little needle valve looking thing
Try your gauge on another saw first. If it reads low, remove the valve core and see if the band on it is red or if it's white. Red is for tires and is too stiff

why would they put it on a compression gauge tho lol i don't have a valve tool

Got this on my ms310. I think I know what's wrong lol I'm turning it over to slowly. Not using the pull start or a drill or anything
