Consumer grade ope is just junk. Flat out junk.
The cells are welded together in groups of three rated at 3.7 volts each. The groups are combined into three sections. The cooling system is very intricate between the cell groups so replacing individual cells would be tough to do. This one had cell group 51 0.2 of a volt lower than the rest. The total voltage of the pack that we replaced was 87.9 volts.Always wondered if the packs were rebuildable or if the whole thing had to be replaced. What size are the individual cells? Can they be replaced individually?
Its taking time away from my family, that's when I learned.how long did it take to learn that?
Thanks Mike. The saw activities are just about non existant at this time. Involved in a peein' match between the builder and the county inspector for my shop.Damn good to hear from you Steve, I missed you!
Hey Ethan if you don't already have a service repair manual you can go over to this thread and request a copy that should help you on putting that beast together...I used it for the fist one I ever did and it comes in handy for sure... http://opeforum.com/index.php?threads/4596/They emailed me and said the new handle is on the way. Maybe it won't be long
