The disadvantage, to me, of a derringer is it's a last ditch effort gun. Accurate to about 2 feet or less. Plus only 2 shots. I prefer the Berretta's 17 round capacity.

I call both this and the screw kind a micrometer because both are exactly that. Most call that kind a caliper though.

No, not true. TECHNICALLY, this is a caliper:

And this is a micrometer:

A micrometer is accurate to .ooo1 of and inch, a caliper is accurate to .001 of an inch at very best.
This would be correct.

I got a couple Mitutoyu "Micrometers"

And a cheap ass ching chong "caliper..

Lol.

So you would be willfully wrong and like it?

That don't seem wise.

Better to learn and be correct moving forward. Never stop learning.

He's pretty young to not be learning. I'm getting old and still try to learn something new every day!

There are now some digital micrometers, makes it easy for us hillbillies that have a hard time reading the old-fashioned kind! They advertise to be accurate to .00001 of an inch.

The day I don't learn something useful for life, is the day I'll die!
