Morning everybody.
Outdoor electronic gizmo says it’s cold outside.

22f and enuf white moistures for a layer evereywhere.

2 more overnight freezing episodes and a reprieve for several days. Just enuf time to get the freshly fallen leaves taken care of. And maybe a bit more tree stuffs done.

At least our garlic patches got some straw cover a couple of days ago!

How do you prepare your Red Kuri?

I have heard a lot of good things about it but haven’t ever had any.

How do you prepare your Red Kuri?

I have heard a lot of good things about it but haven’t ever had any.

Gut them, bake them, then scrape the shells out.
My first time growing them, so learning as I go.

We always had lots of acorn squash growing up and I enjoyed them meat from them.

I enjoy a good butternut squash also.

Come to think of it not much I won’t eat.

Lovely cool weather today.

Tom and I leveled and compacted gravel at the stamp this afternoon.
We picked up the lumber for the forms today..... of course it's not straight, so we'll fix it on the mill in the AM and hopefully be ready for concrete by tomorrow night.
