Lightning and 1.5" rain overnight. At least not the storm damage the last couple were. Lots of people digging out from the mess. Luckily we are good here.

The river was fairly high for this time of year & had lots of debris in it early when I went to Bartlett.

Fellow tried to take the exit onto Francis street at 70(ish). Went over the rail, dropped 30’. Into the substation. He dead.

I wonder if it was a runaway, that’s a snug exit at the speed limit let alone hauling arse.

I heard rain hitting the roof last night about 11, sounded like a decent amount coming down. I will have to wait until I get out and about to see how much is in the gauge. It's the first rain in about 5 weeks for me. Looks like a large cell is moving through Kansas right now, hoping that it will stay south enough to drop some more here.
