Windy yesterday. Blew a SUV pulling a bumper pull trailer around and the driver lost control on I-44. SUV is facing backwards. Backed up traffic for three miles afterwards as they cleaned it up.

Our neighbors house burned down on Saturday. They lost everything in it including 3 pets. Thankfully him and his wife were not inside.
It started from a Can-Am sxs running in the carport. He was letting it run to charge up the battery. Somehow it caught fire and burned the house down.
We spent a couple of days over there getting power hooked up to a camper and getting his well put back together and a couple hydrants going for their animals.

It sure makes a person re-evaluate what really matters in life. He lost a pile of guns and a large stock of ammunition.
He had no insurance. He had everything paid for so didn't think he needed it.

One up in town couple years ago. Lost electric (lack of pay) generator in garage ignited fumes= explosion garage door may have totaled suv in drive. Prolly blew entrance door into house. Suddenly no where to sleep

G-morning coffee clubbers. Our back yard rains for the last 48hrs totaled ~1.7" just north of the twin cities. Temps to be a bit cooler for the next 5-7 nights (through Tues nite) to the possibility of some frosty conditions for several of those evenings, very similar to what @JimBear is expecting.
