I accomplished this much cedar porch railing..... with the excellent help of my 13 yr old son!View attachment 357215

I thought it wasn't too shabby for just a bunch of poor uneducated hillbillies....lol.

My younger son and I cut the trees, drug em outta the woods, milled em up, and built the railing...... it's a very satisfying thing to take a tree from forest to the finished product....I've been it doing since I was a kid and it just doesn't get old.

The inside of the house is pretty unimpressive at this point...... mostly unfinished, just insulation.
But anyways, he did an excellent job!

Had a good time at the GTG today. Nine degrees doesn’t seem so bad until the saw shuts off. Lots of logs, we could cut to our little hearts content!

Baked up MS660 crankcase, 30 min at 275, then a froze pie, 65min at 400. Meanwhile stirred up a batch of tuna helper.

The 660 crankcase assemble went without a hitch. [emoji108] Near fell together.
