What do you use that for?
Cooking.....lard makes the best fried spuds ever.
It's also the ultimate deep fry oil, doesn't make a guy feel like lead after eating lots of fish or doughnuts or whatever.

I think that possum guy likes to mix it into the ground venison to make it more moist....but idk.

I don’t mix lard in, just pieces of hog or beef fat through the grinder.. helps venison Stick together when cooking.

I use it in place of any sort of vegetable oil, cooking oil, seed oils, what have you. I personally also save bacon grease and use it the same way. A little bit in the cast iron skillet before my eggs and hash browns, makes them taste even better.

I found I don't have to season much if I use lard. Just a bit of pepper will do.

Wife saved bacon grease in a white cheese dip jar the other day. Doesn't taste the same on a tortilla chip.

Demanding buggers.....lol
I knew I was going to be in the doghouse for the omitted woodstove pics.....
The inside of the house is pretty unimpressive at this point...... mostly unfinished, just insulation.
But anyways, he did an excellent job!
