I just got back from a Christ in Youth (CIY) conference, in Cleveland TN, with our senior high youth group. Man, I love those kids.

I just want to say this: There are some messed up parents/families out there. Some of these kids did not want to go back home after being loved on for a week. Make it a point to show love, and encouragement, to other kids every chance you get. You may make a difference in their life and not even know it. You have no idea what some of them are dealing with.

How do you get them out of the tree?
We just tell em to come down and get their ass whoopin’..

Or shoot em in the ass..

If we’re lucky, they’ll put their face where I can get a bead on it. That makes the dogs’ Job easier.

Traded one of my riders for a 92 F150 4wd 5 speed 302 today. I’ll find my bucket of “fix it” dust to sprinkle on it and have it up and running in no time. New trailer and the Van handled it like it wasn’t even back there.

Is it pretty straight and rust free??

You gonna flip it?
The cab is in pretty decent shape overall. No rust there. The bed is typical over the wheels rust and extreme left rear, behind the tire, bed is damaged apparently from a blow out. Depending on cost I might just replace the bed.
I plan on keeping it. I can use a 4wd but you never know what the future holds and might eventually flip it. It could depend on another trade that’s in the works, too. I’ve also got a 96 Neon that I’ve got up for trade on marketplace. Trying to trade it for an old running tractor. Something along the lines of another Cub or an 8N.

Find some 3/4 ton leaf springs and flat bed that beast.

George the duck dog got to run with the coon hounds again last night. We got 5 out of the same nasty locust tree..

The damn things worked the screen on a fan of a grain bin at my place until they broke part of it & started going in under the floor. I wait for them to pile in then turn the fan on & listen to them try to come back out thru the fan.
If I turn the unloading auger it really fires them up & makes them want to get back out. They come out with a bloody noses only to get walloped in the melon with a Osage club or meet a 9mm slug.

Nobody hunts them around here anymore because they aren’t worth anything. I have hauled a few off in the grain trailer if I leave the tarp open they get in & crawl back up the slopes.

Nobody hunts them around my cabin either. When I met some of the farmers around when I bought the place almost everyone of them said they dont mind the deer. Hated the coons tho. They all complained about the coons tearing down big sections of corn in the middle of their fields. Told me to shoot every one of them I saw.
