Captain’s Corner was the featured restaurant in ‘Rural Missouri’ a little magazine put out monthly by United Electric Cooperative. It’ usually has some interesting stuff in it. I had to look up Paradise as I had never heard of it.

Mother usually tosses the magazine after her & dad read it, I grabbed it before it went to the burn barrel.

Granddaughter Carlee spotted it the other day.

Runs and drives. Man pulled it from the garage it sat in for twenty years.

His aunt (?) parked it because the windshield wipers sometimes failed to operate.

I thank the Lord that He blessed us with 2.1" of rain last night and today. We sure did need it!

Glad to see some others getting much needed rain. Just that bit we got the past week and a half, sure greened things up pretty fast. Pretty amazing considering how dry we were. Even some pastures are turning green, from brown.
