I finished up haying for Chase today, the last 25 acres got 29 bales. He was running his corn test plot, no idea how that turned out I haven’t talked to him.
I saw my brother running beans while I was raking/baling, he said he ran about 600bu. off the heart of a couple small ridges & they were testing between 8% up to 13% but the outside rounds were pretty green yet.
He wants to switch over to corn tomorrow, run off some small patches/open up some fields & put a couple thousand bushel in several bins & get the fans going since it’s supposed to be in the 80’s & low humidity for several days. I think it’s a good plan, the more we do now the less we have to do later in the year.
