Wish me luck.

Garage door opener getting new gears. [emoji1696]

Both door places in Joetown told me it was obsolete and can’t get parts. Sell me a new one, they wanted to.

F$$$ them people.

Gear set from evilbay, $14, for a slightly different model.

I hope to remember where all the parts go.

Only two #10-32 machine screws hold the 10-12 # motor from falling on one’s head.

Grease the [emoji90] out of it.

Good afternoon!
Been pretty busy lately...
Went to an auction yesterday to pick up an anvil. They advertised a 600lb anvil, but they weighed it in at 488lb. I tried to buy it, but he had a reserve of $4000. A bit too pricey for me.
I bought this one which has had one end cut off. It still weighs in at 171.4lb.

I hope everyone has a blessed weekend!

Looks good Thomas.
All you need to remember is this whenever you want to make something.

You're not designing and building the Space Shuttle. It's just not that hard.

I remember when you could buy really Good anvils all day and everyday for $1.00/lb
Sometimes a little less if it was at the right auction.
If any of you get up the KC way it is worth it to go for a tour of the Ag Hall of Fame
to see the anvil display and also the Barbed wire display is very fascinating.

I've got a fair size barb wire collection. Started it back in the 60's. There are quite a few fences in my old stomping grounds that have a 18 to 36 inch section spliced with newer wire.[emoji849]

Garage door opener fixed!!

Next we get anal and spiffy up the door hardware, hinges & rollers etc..

Needs body and fender work (steel door panels). Edges have been snagging each other since Sarah bumped it twenty some years ago. [emoji19]
