Still here. Mostly just busy with the postage stamp designing stuff and planning so I've just been lurking here. When I'm not down there I've been busy in the evening getting projects ready to go down there.

I got my other knee done today, and hopefully in 3 weeks I can ride my ATV across the ice to the cabin. Plan is to haul supplies up the hill from the lake as I’m tired of climbing that hill. If that doesn’t work, I’ll tie the two canoes together and load the ATV on them. Tow it across the lake like I did with all the large lumber and doors. Still 3 ft. of ice so I have a little time yet!

If your surgeon was any good ..... My second knee I was up on the walker less than 24 after leaving surgical theatre and cheating on the instructions to walk only with that assister outside PT. Just gotta reduce the junk around the internal scar tissue IIRC

That is a fact . I should run it more but I don't get into big enough trees that often. May have to put a 24 on it . But it is still heavy.

Been working on building a tree puller to replace the one we sold. It’s coming along. All 1/2” and 1” T1 plate. 1/2” wall tubing. Should hold up well.

This is the original prototype.

Burning some 5/32” 7018. About get her dialed in.

I got the moderna vaccine yesterday. I’m sick as a dog today. Much more sick than when i had the Rona !!! Go figure. Hope it doesn’t last as long though!!!

I didn't know that, but somebody else told me the same thing today. I can see the VAMC from my house. I happened to be driving by and they were having a drive through vaccination, so I went for it.

I always get sick from the flu shot. Doesn't matter if it is a live virus or not. Wipes me out for a day or 2. I stopped getting them for a long time. I got one this year and same old thing, wiped me out for about 24 hours.

My dad is 80. He and my stepmom finished their vaccinations about a month ago. Other than a sore arm, no side effects.

I woke up at 3:30am and I was so cold my teeth were chattering uncontrollably, like something out of a movie. I piled on the blankets. Now I am sweating like a hog and have a fan blowing on me (102.3 fever)...lol

I think 10-12 is standard max depending on the skid steer size and jaw size. But Kyle doesn’t do anything standard. Maybe he will chime in with what it can do.

Those aren't for real large trees. And root structure makes a difference. But all those pesky trees not suited for firewood, but too big to brush hog, just grab em and rip em out of the ground.
Takes a loader with some ass too..
