Prolly built 1900 telegraph rd, by Jim Trunko or the other builder. Jim machined cases & such in 1973 at the buggy shop, owned by his brother w ith partner (s). He wasn't old enough to drive just then. Buggy shop passed away & Jim kept on for the last 47 years. That's why he is putting the finishing touches on a 1641 short block for me, once the other pieces are scattered together by me.A guy I work with had one hell of a VW motor built in St Louis a couple years back. Spins the 31 10.50 on his buggy with ease.

Different place then. Buggy shop was between Lindbergh & 4 lane 21, on what was 21Was he out in Lindbergh near Melville about 1965?
Sourced a serviceable cylinder head and piston for my ‘56 Bug from there. It had the typical fried #3. [emoji90]
