Any of you anal retentive wood sorters got a face cord of Hickory I could buy or trade you out of?
All my smokin wood was up by the smoker.

My bout with the bug was pretty easy. Just drags on for too long.

Only thing I got is pecan Thomas brought me.

Speaking of hickory. I milled some Saturday. Hardest stuff I ever milled. One log sat for a year and was extra hard. I have half a tote of splits from the butt ends. Shag bark hickory. Alredy sold the full tote.

Another scaley back hickory story...
When the have lot of nuts ,,, 2 things are great from them .

Pigs eat them and the flavor of the meat is out of this world..

And tree ratts are easy to shoot when they are on them , like they are on dope...

Deer can crack and eat them as well you can hear pigs and deer feeding on them for 200 yards
