Good morning!
Drug the Mall 7H out into the middle of the shop and fired it up. It hadn't been run since the Spring 2019 Older Iron Club event. Filled with fuel, pushed the tickler down to prime it and it fired and idled on the fourth pull.

MS311 Sthil dad has bought brand new has been a POS , he took it back to dealer several times and they tell him he flooded it ,,,, he brought it to me I found intermittent coil , put coil on it ..
Saw floods super easy and everything you read people say same thing .
He told me to sell that pos and get him a easy to start saw ..

I start saw fine for 3 days...no I problem.

What ye think about getting him a 450 Husqvarna??

And I may keep MS311, as it basically a new saw

I’d prefer a 357,359 myself. The 450 is a decent home owner saw though. I’d say in that size I’d try to find a 346.

Get the m18 Milwaukee cordless. Best there is

This is probably the best idea for him, too.
Any gas saw can get cantankerous from time to time and it would just be easier on him to keep a battery charged.

I stress-tested my Milwaukee the other day. It made a substantial number of cuts with the bar buried. It doesn't like to noodle as there isn't much room under the chain drive cover.
