Most of the ponds up here that look like that have had cattle in them, a couple fellas around here clean their cattle ponds out every 10-12 years.

That was the idea, yes. Clean the 4' of loon *s-word out then see how far we can go.

Use smaller equipment in that pond....


Will be easier to drag out after sinking it past the cab....

We have a pond like that. It has a huge magnet in the center of it. If you get close to any edge with equipment that magnet will drag you into that sucker every single time.

CAT, Deere whatever brand will do.

Just remember that mud will get heavy quick if it has a large bucket.

A guy down the road from uncle has a track hoe set up for this. Looks funny as hell seeing the long arms and a back how bucket.

Currently sitting at the postage stamp. Got here about 6:30 and got most of the grass cut.
Tomorrow we'll get after some more brush, then head home. Grandson might be coming home tomorrow.

Friend of mine has a pond that dries up almost every year and he won’t dredge it out when it’s dry. Drives me nuts

Aluminum deck? Some of those Deere push mowers had aluminum decks, they were pretty pricey.
