Yes it reminds me of a 32" x 16' 8" capacity band mill @ $3050 from auction, near my home. Company was out of business from phone call to # on the radial. I lacked ability to load logs on it so passed it up. Came with 8 or 9 new bands. And I was shown how to coil uncoil them bands before I was 12. Have not yet tore up any part on my hide in the processThat would be direction reading..
Pfffttt... you know me better than that..
It’s a solvent trap when used with the right fittingsWell for $49.99 and the chance to win a free vacation in a 5x10 I'll pass.
Evening fellas. Wind blew all day. Sure need a good rain! Figure hineyman and them Okies are shooting the breeze and we're getting the blowby![
In case any of you gents haven’t seen it there is a chainsaw dyno thread over in the chainsaw section. Joe @Red97 built the thing. It’s really nice work & an interesting ongoing read. Anyway I have included a couple of torque/hp graphs from a 261, 5105 & 6100 done by Carl @Miller Mod Saws. You will have to blow up the graph to read the print. There are some graphs of other saws in the thread also. The graphs are read right-left

LOL. It gets windy here but Kansas is on another level....like a permanent tornado except there’s no funnel to run from and hide.
Yes, rain is needed; can’t believe I said that, made me choke to say it

Thanks Joe, I was thinking of the 6100 & posted that posted then got to thinking about the 361 that got ran with the 5101 & 261. Great work on the dyno.Thank you.
Fixed that for you.
6100 dolmar not 361.
Some very stout saws.
I ended up with an Oregon Power Now saw from epay as a project that started out cheap and ended up at over $250. Actually surprised by how much I could cut with it. De-limbed a 30' pine in one of the kids yard after getting it down with a real saw. It's a good saw to lend to a few of the neighbors too, as they can't get in too much trouble with it. Cuts like my 310 Echo.Good morning!
Had a friend ask about battery-powered chainsaws. Any ideas on what would be a good one? He's considering Creamsicles.

Use copper kote on them there headsSmall engine update. Pulled the heads to check cylinders. No rust inside. But plenty of rust on the outside. Cylinder are still new. Oil plug was like new on the inside. Found another reason it was not turning over very easy. Lots of mouse stuffings. Now it spins freely. Will need new gaskets. New coils. Coils froze and split. Lots of new rubber and lots of outside cleaning.![]()
