Grand daughters Girl Scout troop in our back yard yesterday evening. Ten squirrelly adolescents. Painting a wood house type thing assembled by a dad or uncle. To house feminine products and sit outside St. Francis school.

I don't understand it but given the neighborhood I doubt it will last a month.

I hunkered down in the garage and passed out hammers and screwdrivers. The "plus sign" screwdriver please grandpa, etc.

I should get hazard duty pay.[emoji848]

Now the van and little 'house' share a garage stall while the paint dries.

The place I work at had the owners son working one summer and called it the cross shaped drill bit.

Found one at the public school across our street.

Missouri Conservationist: Back years ago was an excellent publication. Contributors like Joel Vance were an excellent read.

Since then it has become a something for everyone mag. result in not much of any interest (to me at least).

Google. "Larry Dabelmont" He's syndicated.
His stuff is good. He grew up on the Piney river.

I think I have seen this ad on CL for over a year now. Anything in there worth looking at? Don't know if he will separate or not.

Idk, but seeing this reminded me to call Madsen's and order some wheels and a breaker and spinner set..
I like madsens, they have a phone number,
I call it, and then ask him if they got what I want, then they say yes and I say throw that in the box too..
Easy..

I take it too and have it sent to my daughter/granddaughters.
Used to be most every article was something of interest to me. Now it seems like most of the articles are more related to somebody justifying their position. I do like Nappadole Pouthong, excellent photographer and writer. He did an article a few years back on the King Rail. A marsh bird returning to eastern Missouri. Beautiful bird. I'd like to see one, sometime, in its natural habitat. I just wouldn't want to BE in its natural habitat though.

Not sure who wrote it but, I remember a tale about two young boys, a ten gauge double barrel, a goat and an alligator hunt.
Laughed till tears run down my cheek.

Recoil knocked them both out of the tree and they wound up dodging a peed off alligator.[emoji23]

Bean ground?
Or corn?
You ever have to lime that flood plain?
Or does nature do it for you?

Corn. Yes we still spread lime.

Wouldn't be doing that here.
Guessing about 2in.
