Have a safe trip! Cool part was Mo doesn't charge sales tax at purchase so when I went to register it here in Ks was expecting a $900 bill it was $160. Not sure if it was a mistake but wasn't going to question it.

IMG_0498.JPG 5-6 flea markets and only one saw.
Mcculloch model 33. Outside, on the ground, grass growing up around it. Missing filter and points cover. I passed.
Did find a nice knife at the park store.
Came home with me.

There was a big old Mcculloch at the swap today that I thought about buying. The thing was ancient. Had $20 on the tag, but the recoil was missing so I let it slide. Probably could've found one from one of you guys, but it looked too heavy to tote around all day today without walking back to the car.

I've got a '78 w100 with the live front axle 4spd. It's a going machine. Never had it stuck to date in the mud. It was my hunting truck for some time. I could muster 14mpg if I drove it right. I ended up with a carbed '98 318 magnum in it with headers and intake. Couldn't kill it! It had 3.55 gears with 33x12.5 tires. And 3" straight pipes right behind the cab! Sounded awesome! :)

A friend has had a '94 or '95 1500 Ram 2x4 reg cab/lb for years. I have driven it a fair amount while helping Him. That old 318 doesn't get the best mileage, but it's reliable as all get out and pulls far better than 318 cubes ought to, especially with a slush box behind it. I may buy it yet off of Him. Now, if it was a live acle 4x4 with a manual trans? It would already be mine!

Dam thats a nice truck.
Like I said she is a patient one. She has been looking and has the cash in hand for many weeks. She was holding out for a 4x4 but couldn't find a good one in her price range ($3000>) he was asking 3500 for this one but we snagged it for 2900.. she probably could have gotten it a little cheaper but that's how ya learn the haggling process....got to start them somewhere...it is a pretty nice one though..has some hail damage and a banged up tailgate but drives out nice and only seems to have some minor issues so far.... all in all I think she did real well...
