Well I'm feeling a little old, my youngest, Miss Mia, has finally purchased her first personal mode of transportation!

Nice looking truck. Used good trucks down here are non existent.

I think Levi and I are going to bass pro this morning.
We both got to use up some old gift cards.
They tend to sorta stack up.

Ah.............The smell of spending money.......:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Nice truck! Wat engine is in it?

It only has the 4.7 but it just had the timing chain replaced. That is one of my least favourite things to do on these engines. Any thing else I don't sweat it. It has around 190k on it ,auto tranny seems very solid still, interior is pretty straight, and everything functions including ac and cruise... I have the same motor tranny in my Dakota right now with 271k and going strong!! Only difference is I can pull 20mpg and she can only pull about 14mpg but that's the beauty of a small truck with v8.....

That's awesome! Yea a lot of ppl don't like the 4.7. If you take care of the chains it's actually a decent engine.

Afternoon folks. Had a real nice couple hours of sunshine earlier today after a morning of rain. Sun felt real good for a change.

Like I said she is a patient one. She has been looking and has the cash in hand for many weeks. She was holding out for a 4x4 but couldn't find a good one in her price range ($3000>) he was asking 3500 for this one but we snagged it for 2900.. she probably could have gotten it a little cheaper but that's how ya learn the haggling process....got to start them somewhere...it is a pretty nice one though..has some hail damage and a banged up tailgate but drives out nice and only seems to have some minor issues so far.... all in all I think she did real well...

Take the base gasket out Cobey.
You'll be surprised how good it runs.

Started the modifications necessary to install an 070/090 'Tilly' in place of the Tilly HC on the Clinton.

The china carb was made with metric tooling where the original is made with inch sizes.

Like the choke and throttle shafts are 5.4mm instead of 7/32".

Drill press time.

Take the bed and pump off of this and put a regular bed on it and you'd have a HD haulin' beauty. Just over 10K miles and a 427!

I'd love to be able to buy that, sell the fire bed and put a 12' or so flatbed w/a hoist and have a heck of a firewood truck/trailer hauler w/antique tags!

I might do that after I get the 2159
Back together :) I'm waiting on a ring
For it. I got a husky 51 to do for
Alan's brother and the 290 rebuild.
I guess I got to get the 031 carb from you to finish that thing......
