If that dodge still has the ammeter hooked up in the dash check it for conitinuity. They were bad to burn out. If that's the problem just run a heavy charge wire straight to the battery positive from the alternator charge post.

I assume its not hooked up since it never moves. If it had been shorted I should have had trouble before now. I'll run that wire anyway to be on the safe side. What gauge does it need to be? Thanks for the help.

Had a smashed 351 husky come in today that my friend wanted to made whole again.. Pulled the jug and found this..

I have never seen a ring wear that bad, the machine marks were gone on the piston skirt and it still had the plastic intake clamp. This poor thing even wore out the air filter and elbow to where the filter was loose and would not "snap in" on the elbow anymore. I had enough parts to make it whole again and will have a piston Thursday!
