I hadn't seen
I'm in Udall about 25 miles south of Wichita and He's off of 31st South and Meridian. I have plenty to give Him outright, but, a neighbor has a large pile of dead hedge about 3 miles North of me that's free for the taking and a good reason to go out and cut... They've not been burning a lot though as He's on oxygen and essentially can't load by Himself anymore, His wife works during the day and the home "health care" individuals could largely care less... I used to get Him 1-2 cords/yr but he hadn't burned much in the last two and when he was, he was burning Cottonwood from a tree he had removed in his backyard. The supply is a bit low and what's left I haven't had time to get over and work up for Him. It's been hell on chains and generally a PITA to cut.
The first time it happenedOf course, most people will crack the fuel tank open before it unloads its contents all over you.
Lol.
Hemostats are your friend here.... Or simply drain the tank. Most junk I have to fix has syrup in the tank anyway....The first time it happened
It was a suprize
Hell you don't have to worry about it, but I appreciate it nonetheless. I'm going to be delivering a cord and a half this week and if He needs more I'll get Him take care of. It was more about the not planning on it part due to lack of recent demand. Hell, I've got to get soe time to cut as I have about 5-10 cords (or more) available and waiting on me w/in a 4 mile radius of the house. It's an embarrassment of riches really.[/QUOTE]I can get over there. I'm only 2 miles from him. PM or just give me a ring or email

Evening fellas, went home sick from work today, first time in 2 years. Some damn bug, slept 4hrs when I got home.
I keep an awl on the saw bench just for that purpose. Crack the cap, pull the carb and insert awl, tighten cap. Works real good.never again will I pull a carb without opening the tank lol

It says Mac on the bar.
No tach needed. That number is NOT as important as 4 stoking @wot. And I don't give a damn about what any super stihl tech says about rpms..I think I'm gonna wait to tune it till I have my new tach. I don't trust the local Stihl tech
I want to see the number for my own reference and to keep it under 14k lol I figure I'll end up at 13600 like my 310. Mainly want it for tuning the L and LA. Having a hard timeNo tach needed. Let me emphasize that again, the number don't mean anything grasshoppa, 4stroke is the import and part... My 350 will 4 stroke @14,200 however the way its ported, it has more torque (IMHO by the feel of the hands) tuned at 13,6-13,800. I tune it so its in its sweet spot and still runs at the end of the day.I want to see the number for my own reference and to keep it under 14k lol I figure I'll end up at 13600 like my 310.
