I used a square head long bit to put the jug on. Gonna have to get a t25 long bit tomorrow to take it apart and try no base gasket. Base gasket is .020

Ought to get a t27, too...just in case

Idk t25 fit and that's what I had. If only my extension for bits had fit I could have used it. The od was to big tho lol it probably is t27 tho. Idk if one of those extended will be readily available I live in a small town. Of course since I have to wait now I'm going to have to take the ring compressor back I borrowed from the local Stihl dealer and wait even longer. So might as well drive to mountain home and get the right bit

T-25's will fit, some what loosely though. T-27 is the correct fit.
And you're right, good luck finding one. Had to get my son to buy one from Snap On for me.

Things get expensive without patience. Double check and tripple check your work. And don't let pride get in the way of asking questions. There's no such thing as a stupid question but there is such a thing as stupid mistakes. Pm anybody here for any help needed.

You can get by with an Allen wrench, too. But nothing will beat a T-27.

I think I can get one at home depot lol Walmart even sells them. Gonna get it for my impact. Don't plan to use it in it but I like having the option. I usually put a 1/4 socket on my 3/8 ratchet to put impact bits in

I bought a full set of Bostich long Allen bits with a t handle, along with a 6" t27 from somewhere in cali. And I picked up a cheap orange handled t27 from huztl. It's the cheapest pos looking tool I own, but it won't twist or break

I have 3,4,5mm and 3/16 in 9" t handle and the 4 mm is almost polished. I have 4,5 t27 from Nate. Best tolls chainsaw along with hemostats and a 6" pair of 45° needle nose.
