Yep, March the fifth to be exact. There will be plenty of good clean wood to cut!
I hate to miss another cut, but the Dept. of Conservation is having a Prescribed Burn Workshop that same day that I need to attend. Pisser.

:sinfotos:I don't know why it's in Spanish, but it roughly translates "This thread is worthless without pics" if I remember my Spanish.

I never take pics of my work. I need to get a smart phone to make it easier. With that said, I got the camera out:

2 stacks of hickory (one behind the other). I have a 3rd at my house for Matt.

Here is the black jack and pin oak I cut yesterday. There was some oak already in the pile before yesterday's plunder. I took a pic from the other side with some big rounds but it won't upload:

Here is a large stack (the pic doesn't do it justice) of oak splits and a small stack of hedge rounds in the bottom left corner. Isaac got a wood chip in his eye, thus the squinting:

This is my mixed wood that needs to be split. Anybody want to help, come on down. That is a stack of pecan splits in the background:

This is the back side of the pile above:

Haven't had much time to work on saws lately. But my daughter's bathroom is starting to take shape finally. We knocked out a wall brought it out about 4 feet. She gonna have a nice spacious bathroom for her and the kiddos now. I brought a couple big oak beams in yesterday and started cutting the joinery to make the walk in shower wall. There will be rock veneer in between the posts under the beam. The space above will be left open.

Yep...... it's the nicer one, I fixed it for bran,
The ugly one behind it is the test saw. I put this one together so bran would
Have it for Alan s charity cut. Both saws have tight squish

And It has the kind of transfers Alan likes to work on...

I'm not gonna mess the cylinders up, ill measure, learn, and seek wisdom
Of you guys that know year stuff

Now ya gotta make sure that treacherous, miserable, "I hate it's guts" plumbing is absolutely leak proof...

Have I mentioned I hate plumbing?

Looks like a big project. Would love to see the finished pics.

I think I may just send that s10 down the road and find a better option. A '69 K-5 Blazer, or '86 Scottsdale 3500 4x4 (but only with a 8.1l, Cummins or Detroit heart beat) would be ok...
