We have more rain. And wind. Not a great combination.

Spent the better part of yesterday noodling and splitting some big stuff.
Neighbor to the south had to have his sugar maple taken down. It was dying fast and right by the house. He’s 91. The tree was planted by the prior owners of the property, he moved there in 1938 as a kid.
But a good stash of maple is a good thing.

I had a big Red Bone hound that hunted coyotes. He hated the darn things.

Never ceases to amaze me how well coyotes are camouflaged.

Somebody is a nuisance. Talked to several people who say they will shoot the coyotes out on my place and not a single one has ever done it. Only one who showed up shot a bobcat. He didn't even know if it was in season or not. He was not invited back again. If I have time to bring a rifle along I will shoot them if the opportunity presents itself.
