Morning folks. Hope everyone is surviving this latest cold snap. Here at our homestead it 's warmed to -12f so far with the guessers saying todays high is guessed to be -1f. This wasn't meant a joke or what-not.

At least a refreshed mug of HOT coffee helps for a short while.

Went on a little date weekend getaway with the wife and got to do a little flea marketing. Found a nice old Griswold to go with the one I got from my grandma as a wedding present. It was her wedding present as well. The one we bought sat is a no 8 777 chicken fryer I believe. The one I got from grandma is an Erie 3rd series somewhere between 1892-1905. The darker one is the one I got from grandma.

Also got me a really nice 40-50s brass water hose nozzle. A Sherman gold label. Super good quality.

That's awesome you have your grandmother's frying pan, people don't think enough about their family history.......with that pan you have a constant reminder of your roots.....hopefully you have good memories.
