Afternoon fella's. Six week follow up with the doc today. He cleared me to do anything I wanted to do as long as I felt like I had the strength, so I stopped by the Harley Davidson dealer on my way home and threw my leg over a couple bikes. The Heritage Softail and one of the Dyna's were pretty easy to maneuver, but I think I'll wait til spring anyway. I just really wanted to know where I was at. I still need to build some more muscle before I dive in.

Bought a new Heritage May 2015. 13000 mi so far. No regrets. Cuts into my saw time though. Glad you're on the mend.

Heading to the great state of Missouri today, zoo in St Louis, then to the children's museum, and then to boonville for the stables Monday. Looks like great weather for the weekend.

Morning everyone! Down in San Antonio w/the family to watch my Wife's kid brother get married later today. Taking the kids to the water walk today and the Alamo tomorrow. Then Sea World on Sunday and Corpus to the ocean and to see the Lady Lex on Monday and Tuesday!!!

If any of you happen to be in St. Louis on Easter Sunday, stop at the upper parking lot of the muney opera in Forest park. The StLouis model A and T clubs put on a free classic/hot rod/custom car show there every year.

Tyra is beginning to be herself again. Has a bit of a headache. I'd say that's ok, considering what's she's been through.
She asked when can she go home, she's bored here. Her mother said "Not for a few days, honey. There are some people that will want to talk to you some first".
She's got a long row to hoe first but she has a strong family to back her up. She does remember Goldie and I there in the emergency room. Her mom, dad and sister. Then her 2 Uncles showed up along with my daughters best friend from high school, Steven, and his German Shepard service dog. She was somewhat surprised by all this care for her well being. It's been a while since I was that age but I guess it's, sometimes, hard to see the forest for the trees.
Good thing I own some saws. I'll start cutting down some of those trees.

Got a new saw tonight. Remington SL 5. Looks hardly used. Air Filter was caked. Fuel filter was dirty. Lines look almost new. Popped on a prime so I thought "what the h" and fueled her up. Runs good but needs tuning. Needs some cleanup. Got the original roller bar. 20". Was sitting in the grungy tool room at a local flea market (just the way I like my flea markets). Wanted $75, took $50. Pix later. Even came with the original carry case ( don't particularly like them but so be's it). Oh, even came with brand new sprocket. Maybe it was used some. Hmm. Fer sure didn't need another saw but I didn't have a Remington so I got it. Glad I did
