I intend to build a 1 pig version of that. preferably with a covered motor that I can attach a full length spindle for spit roasting. I actually have a weird idea for it though, in that I want to make a propane manifold in the bottom for finishing (after the smoking) and side fire chamber for normal smoking and an insert pellet hopper/burn pot for a PID controllable pellet option, with decidedly less temperature fluctuation. I have access to an old cattle trailer, missing it's top and sides which should make for an ideal platform for said appliance.

Afternoon fella's. Six week follow up with the doc today. He cleared me to do anything I wanted to do as long as I felt like I had the strength, so I stopped by the Harley Davidson dealer on my way home and threw my leg over a couple bikes. The Heritage Softail and one of the Dyna's were pretty easy to maneuver, but I think I'll wait til spring anyway. I just really wanted to know where I was at. I still need to build some more muscle before I dive in.
