Looks like I been feeding the local deer population.. they seem to like to eat just the tips off my bean plants.
1000’s of acres of beans to eat around here, but they want to harass my field.
They gotta walk across open fields to get here.
Pretty common around here, they graze them down to the ground. Although this year doesn’t seem as bad, I believe the wild goat population is down significantly this year.

I am sure that they won’t be out in those open fields when deer season starts.

I had one for many years and miss it a little bit.
However the PM700 recently acquired, just might take it soft spot away.

It's been nearly a month since I've even seen any hint of rain, clouds sure.
Thanks for the picture of what the stuff is close to looking like.
Getting a little tired of running dirt roads where the cab fills with dust and then runs down the dash like water when you hit a bump. Wiping the dust from the top of your cup to take a drink and the gritty feeling in your mouth when you do. Guess it helps to polish my teeth so I don't have to brush so much. May start taking a plastic bag and covering the top of my cup to keep out the dirt.

I just found it weird the amount of travel they had to put in to get to them.
the nearest “cover” they got is a half mile away..

With plenty of beans to pick from between here and there..

Made new drag back arms for the sawmill this weekend. Added a shoe or finger to the bottom to hold the wood as you drag it back to the back of the mill for stacking. Without the shoe the wood falls down once off the cant. Hard part was the steel I used. I only had 1/2" scrap in AR400. Reaming the holes to true size started out difficult. But sanded the layer of hardness from the plasma off and then shaft holes reamed fine.

Morning everybody.
Rebekah got in touch last night. She’s needing some help getting a supply of firewood. She has a little right now and I have some I’m going to take to her. I figured we can have a charity cut for her on November 2nd and really get her stocked up for quite a while.
Anybody interested just let me know.
