Guess wood mizer is entering the log splitter fray..
And for $13,000 dollars, you too, can own one.

I’m not sure if that’s a good price for a bi directional style like that or not. I’ve never really looked at them.

That’s what I was thinking, Given @Hinerman s reputation it would be best to let Matt run it first before even letting Thomas lay eyes on it, let alone touch it.
I can't wait to get my hands on it. I bet I could round up a few yard trees to break it in

I hired mine done. Total of 67 yards between footing and slab. I was out before work tying rebar along side them. 4500 psi. I had already done a bunch of work since I was thinking I would do the pour myself. Figured better to pay for it and just get it done.

When I added onto my house I did it all myself with a little help from dad and couple other people on the second pour. 19 yards total. Walls on the safe room I put under the house are 8" thick. Accessible from master closet.

Cool enough that you could have poured 4500 or 5000 psi. How big, size and yards.
10x70
9 yds.
Still not ready for troweling in one area.

I still hate concrete work.......

Just helped the man pull the boom cylinder off his backhoe......he thought it wasn't under pressure.......it was........Tom and I are now very baptized in hydraulic oil....
It really doesn't taste that bad.

Looks like I been feeding the local deer population.. they seem to like to eat just the tips off my bean plants.
1000’s of acres of beans to eat around here, but they want to harass my field.
They gotta walk across open fields to get here.
