The coyotes were making a lot of commotion when I went out but vacated before I could sight one in so coon huntin we went.

Seems once you get a dog to hate coons, they hate em for life..

The beagle is starting to become more accustomed to the rifle, he at least doesn’t completely disappear like he did when I first got him from the pound.

The lab is really coming into her own, if I shoot at anything she is on seen directly, looking & sniffing around. She must have some good gun dog genes. She has figured out the shoot & grab. Once I shoot at coon, she goes right in for a grab.

She has figured out that grabbing the neck & thrashing is a good tactic.

She did find another skunk about 10 minutes after the garbage panda.

She just may make the first 2 years of being a major pia worth the all the frustration.

After the first 10 minute battle, George figured out the same thing..
Hit em hard and thrash and toss..

Then hit em again before they gather their bearings..

The first one was “face full o coon” lotsa cuts and blood.. lol

George is half black lab and half boxer..

He fetches ducks and hates raccoons..

But unfortunately, he’s getting grey around the muzzle.. his hearing is shot..not sure how long he’ll be able to keep up with expectations..

Crunched an armadillo the other night.. but he’s slowing down.

Morning folks. Fresh ground coffee was a priority earlier, a few minutes of slackin', then back to outdoors stuffs.

To Do List:
Do remainder of garden set-up and plantings in town.
Mow near hay-field length yard.
Remove cover from greenhouse, as liquid sunshine starting again tomorrow.
and 5 or 6 others but not worth boring everyone without pictures.

They give me a minimum of 3 months. At least that's how long the treatments are scheduled so far an then nother c-scan for a truer projection.
I know that The Loving Power of the Universe has our best interest in Mind. Each and every one of Creations ever. I quit arguing a few years ago. Life got easier
