Good morning folks.
It's going to be a morning to get some outside stuff done at the homestead before the moistures arrive early this afternoon and last till later tomorrow. At least the temps will start out high enuf to be wet stuffs, the white stuff will have to wait for a couple of days.

Morning midlanders!

I’ve gotten behind quite a bit on following this post. 😑

Fellow came down from Oaskalosa, Ia and carried off the Homie 955. 👌

I hated to see the 24” roller nose go with it but one less saw carcass is a win.

It’s now up to the 82 cc Remingtons to finish up the maple trunk.

Everybody left about 2ish? Got everything accomplished. Made 4 trips, 3 truckloads each time, then got the two climate controlled units emptied into the outside unit. Mission accomplished.
Thanks Matt, Thomas, Eric, Derek and Steve.
On another note.
Before we got started we were all standing in the living room, drinking coffee and doing a lot of catching up when Thomas reached into his back pocket and pulled out an envelope. He said a LOT of folks got together to get Goldie and I a housewarming gift. Handed me the envelope. I took a quick glance and started getting choked up.
Still getting choked up thinking about it.
Now we can get a pellet stove.
I want to say “Thank You” from the bottom of my heart to everyone. You all mean the world to us.

2 cedar
1 hackberry
And this one.. Hedge

Broke 3 screw heads off putting it together.

Probably dulled my planer too.. *s-words like glass.

Same here, almost never use matches anymore.

That hedge is some dense stuff.
Sparky never leaves my side..

I use the *s-word out of that thing..

I demonstrated its use for Thomas yesterday..

I keep a squirt bottle of diesel fuel handy too..
