Morning everybody.

It's a hot sticky one today!

Started at daylight stacking yesterday's lumber....IMG_20230726_074416.jpg

After breakfast we went and limbed/bucked up a nice load of cedar from my friend the dozer guy....IMG_20230726_102517.jpg

On the way over, we saw this rv that got blown over in the wind last week...

Now we've got to get to sawing more pine logs...

Have a good one y'all.

Well the dog days are here. Gonna put the the final fry on the fall crops! This 107 bs with no wind is slow cooking everything. Some wells and ponds are drying up.
Sounds like you are in the same situation as @hoskvarna. Real feel here today is 112*, one week ago it was 82* here. The hay is refusing to dry today, hopefully it will go tomorrow.

We're down to around 50% humidity in the afternoon now, my lumber is finally drying instead of just molding/rotting.

I really don't have much use for the high humidity..... I guess plants kinda like it though.

Gonna put trusses up Saturday..

We might make it till noon..

Supposed to be 100 plus temps. But I’ve worked in worse. A few years ago.
I remember a whole week of 104-108 actual temps. My 90 year old neighbor said it was worse in 55 and 56.
