I have never seen a sow defend her young ones before. She came running up growling & pounced on Jetta’s head, she was taken off guard but got with the program after that.

Feel free to bring those two for a visit to my cabin. Have seen as many as 3 on a branch at the same time there. Stinkin coons get into everything.

A good bolt action .308 with subsonic ammo and a quality can makes dispatching them an effective and quite proposition even in residential environments.

Or a cheaper alternative is a quality air rifle.

My RWS 54 will also take them out.

Buckshot seems very effective also. One branch, 3 coon. Only need 1 or 2 shots.

Built an AR in 22 mag. It's just for critters. Critters just die for it.

I've had a 22 Benjamin pellet rifle for decades. Squirrels, coons etc. used to die for it. Now the leather is worn in the original so only birds die for it now, but the replacement still acts as the original did 60+ years ago

Just got back from visiting with Alan and Rebekah.
All are doing well and got to see their new Grandson. (Via A.J. And his young wife). Also got to do some shooting with the new Henry, the 10/22 and pistol. Overall was a good time with the kids.
