We might make it till noon..

Supposed to be 100 plus temps. But I’ve worked in worse. A few years ago.
I remember a whole week of 104-108 actual temps. My 90 year old neighbor said it was worse in 55 and 56.

It can be done.....but it sure ain't no fun working in this kind of weather.


I last about 20 minutes in the sun..... in the shade with the fan, about 2 hours between ac breaks.


Sawing the 20' stuff today.....got about a dozen of em to cut.

The guessers said 97* today with sunny skies & 10-12mph breezes. Actual: It’s overcast with scattered rain showers but the wind is blowing so I guess they got 33% of it right. Not looking like much if any hay will be getting rolled up today.

Stopped by the house to pick up the mail and saw the screen door propped open. The contractor hung a lock box on the back door for subcontractors to use for access. So I pulled out my key and walked in. The Sheetrock has been delivered.

Years ago I had converted our 1 car garage into two rooms. The front room we used as a den and the back room was an extension of the kitchen and laundry room. I decided to change it back to a garage (for resale value) so we closed in the entrance to the den and put up the wall at the kitchen which has a door opening to go into the garage.

Oatmeal is down last cuppa joe poured.
Town says 75° at 5:50. In my house 73 from open windas all night in this valley. Have a brass (candy prolly) bucket hanging over a ss catch for condensation. Large bag of ice into upper, play a fan over and cool and dehumidify in one swell foop. See how well this works for swamp cooling lol
