Morning fellas. We got another .65" yesterday and last night. The farm got .50" (35 miles away) and the ranch got 1.20" (40 miles away). So the past few rains have been a little less spotty, or at least more folks are at least getting something, instead of nothing.

All this rain is sure helping the pastures recover from the last year. Should help business a bit.

It's a pleasant 65° this morning, sposta be 87 or something this afternoon, and the humidity is also sposta be going away.

Off to the mill today to make some more sawdust.

I'll take the heat over the extreme humidity about any day.

Either is miserable to me. I sweat in 60 degree weather without much effort.

But one thing about our summer so far, which has been way more humid than normal for out here, but cooler temps, is that the mornings are cooler. We don't get these cool mornings with 100 plus heat. Obviously, it's quite different than what you deal with, but that's just my observations.

My beagle fancy’s himself as a coon dog. This is 2nd one in a week.



The lab had a her paws fulls with the sow.


I have never seen a sow defend her young ones before. She came running up growling & pounced on Jetta’s head, she was taken off guard but got with the program after that.
