Always thot they were sayin it wood rain 40% of the day. We need some 100% all day rains. :icon_cafe:
Those are nice, but this time of year, the corn is at a stage where it could dump an inch of rain in 10 minutes, and NONE would escape the corn fields... their water uptake right now is massive.

I dumped 1.34” this morning :aaaaa:

Guessers are barking about more tonight thru Saturday night. I may have to mow the lawn again for more than buckhorn trimming & the crops are much happier than they were but needing more. Beggars can’t be choosers though.

Morning fellas. We've got a 60 to 70 percent chance of rain today. Clouds are looking dark, so we'll see. Have a good friday gentlemen.
Percent chance of rain is not what most people think. Here it is explained, sort of, lol. No wonder weather dorks can't get it right...

Clear as mud.

It's been years since I looked it up, but I want to say, I read that the percentage comes from how many days it actually rained previously, when conditions were the same as that day.

So, we have a 60% chance right now. It supposedly rained 60% of the days, where conditions were the same as they are right now. Maybe thats the meteorologist side of the formula he talked about in the video. They take the previous data and try to make a prediction, not sure.

All I know is, it seemed a bit more accurate when I was younger.

It's coming down.....peaked at 118 today.
Idk what the humidity is, but there's way plenty for this kind of temps.

I've managed five utterly miserable 30 minute skirmishes out there today....makes it hard to get much accomplished.

Are you missing Oregon yet? I think that's where you moved there from. If not disregard this post. 🙂

This time tomorrow I should have the A/C back working in my 89 F150. A few years ago the compressor puked its guts into the system. Put a used compressor on, flushed everything out but it still had aluminum dust throughout the system. Got tired of trying to keep flushing that crap out and gave up. Decided a week ago to just replace EVERYTHING in the system. Start with brand new everything. Ordered everything from Rock Auto. I’ve had good luck with them.

While they’re running?
stihl tech said it was not a stuck valve; said it was "internal" and not worth fixing by the time you pay parts and labor. He did not tear it down to look at it and find the problem because of the time he would have to charge. He did say it would not hold vacuum and it was not the primer bulb causing the leak.
