In glen allen near me there is fatality’s from the tornado. It destroyed the fire dept as well there. It’s all hands on deck there this morning. Took out 5 house trailers I’m told. I’m out of the area until tomorrow. Been in PA on a company trip this week.

That's the area I was reading about. Doesn't sound very good. Worst part of spring and summer, is this type of weather.

It was 91* here today with gusty winds & storms rolled thru a while ago, we have another one moving in, just waiting on it now. They say it’s moving at 70mph

We have had .52” so far, a bunch of small chunks of ice early on then this garbage later.

That’s what we had too
Dented my aluminum siding and took some shingles off of a small addition on the house and leaked and most of the plaster dropped off the ceiling

Can’t like that. Hopefully your adjuster gets there quickly & you can get a roof & some siding put on.

Seems a bit excessive to me, the guy wants a deposit to even see if it turns over?

He would probably deny a person trying to use a magnet on it.

General appearance looks good but ….

I had a two tone blue one like that. Got it as a repo from a bank. It had been sitting a while with a big oak branch on top of it. Said branch landed in the middle of the hood. hit it so hard and bent it so badly the hood latch was toast. The back of the hood was sitting where it was supposed to be but where the latch was there was almost a foot gap.
It needed both gas tanks to make it to the next gas station.:icon_cafe:

My dad's 1975 Super cab 390 4 speed maybe 80,xxx miles. Sold it a couple years ago and it was rust free. I think he got $8,500 for it. Guy rebuilt the motor and converted it to 4WD

Delusional...
It seems high to me too, but these old trucks have went up in value like crazy. He will probably get what he is asking. I posted it because I thought it was a slick old truck (with really low miles) and I know there are some Ford guys on here

That's an interesting sales tactic. The second hand market has gone off the deep end.
It does look like a nice old truck. Key word is old. The questions that pop up for me are these.
He says “barn find”. So I’m guessing he found it, MAYBE bought it but I doubt it. I’ve seen folks sell other folks stuff. Probably an open title meaning the owner signed it but not dated. I have a problem with open titles because Missouri has a problem with them. Plus, Missouri has a problem with Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas titles. And paying to see it? He can just keep it.
Don’t get me wrong. I like old trucks. But his advertisement doesn’t make me want it.

The paying, or commiting to buy it, just to see it, inspect it or anything is pretty wild to me. Then again, I've never paid 10k for any vehicle in 30 years. Sounds like he wants someone to just roll the dice. And, if someone is looking for exactly this pickup, for a specific reason, they will probably be fine with his method. Just seems odd to me.

One thing for sure, it sounds like he wants to limit tire kickers and this approach should accomplish that.

He may well be putting off real buyers too.

Normally I loathe stop signs when hauling grain but they make for a good time to snap some photos.
There seemed to be some differing opinions on who should get the co-pilots seat this morning.

About 20 minutes into the trip they got things sorted out.

The second trip they switched things up, I think the beagle fits the seat better.
