A gentleman I know raised two boys and put them through College by cutting and selling firewood for a living. After his boys got out on their own he got a “regular” job. The two owners of the company he worked for were in a discussion one day about who made the best chainsaw. They knew he had experience with them so they asked him what brand was the best? Without breaking stride he replied “ The one that starts on the first pull.”

@plcnut what is your short term review of the OWB?
So far so good.
I had to replace the water level sensor and then the controller (due to a software issue).
That was a pain to deal with, but pretty small in the grand scheme of things.
It has done great on keeping us warm with minimal wood consumption though.
I am happy with it.

Those 550’s are the best ~50cc saws on the market right now.
By the time you get 10 tanks through it, it’ll be the only one you want to grab..
I have two of the original 550's that are unusable due to the bog. I want to try one of the MK2 models.

It's going to have to be good to make me use it over my ms261....we shall see...

If this one doesn't float my boat, I'm may sell it with very low hours.
I'm in Mansfield once or twice a month.......
