Got this monster out and got it ready for its new owner...
Bye bye creamsickle,...
Morning Steve.Morning everybody.
Yesterday was primarily the meet and greet portion and to explain how the process works. He explained the coverage of the house, which we have about 170k coverage on, and how things are paid out. We also have over 100k coverage on contents and we have full replacement value of the contents. He will be back today to do a more in-depth analysis of the whole thing. Another gentleman will be in Wednesday or Thursday to determine the cause, if possible. The insurance seems to be taking care of everything. From cleanup, to a storage facility for all of our stuff, to demo and rebuilding.Morning Steve.
Any news on the insurance adjuster stuff yet?
Fire dept trained kinda like Marines Search n destroy. Sounds like you and Goldie will end up with a better insulated place that won't be up for a paint job for quite a while. Our house is a basic 3 bedroom ranch no basement. Sits on a foundation. Looking at the front of the house the front door is in the middle. To the right of the door is the three bedrooms and bathroom. Other than smoke and a little water damage everything looks fine.
To the left is the living room, kitchen, laundry room and den (these last two used to be the garage). The whole house is still standing but to the left of the door, between the fire and the fire dept, it’s all destroyed. Looks like a war zone.
