Also crick . A small stream of water. Can also be an affliction of the neck or back. Such as “I have a crick in my neck “. Sometimes substituted with the word “Crink”.
Warsh. As in Warsh cloth. Also Warshing clothes.
Holler. Not applicable to yelling at someone but a smaller version of a valley.
Teats. Where cows milk comes from.
Winder. As in “Open the winder.”
Battry. What starts a engine.
Coal oil. Same as kerosene. (I think).

Worm is Ozarkian language.
I’m fluent in Ozarkian because I are one.

A lot of that works for southern Iowa too. That's where i grew up and it was't unusual to hear a lot of those. My mother had a Masters in english so I got ridden hard if I used any of them. Thanks Steve,
Ah bin a tryin t' learn t' talk Ozarkian...... this is real helpful for my language study...lol
Well, I've been talking about selling off my saws because of my back. Problem is, they're still following me home. Last week a real clean 026. The week before, an 025 and a31cc Echo. Today got totally out of hand when I found this nice running 460 with a 30" bar and newish chain. All are pawn shop finds.

It is not about need. Nice score on both the 026 and the 460. The 026 is one of my all time favs. They had it marked at $380 and it's really clean. I was surprised when they took my offer of 300 out the door. Now I have a 440, 441and a 460. Then theres the 056, very cool saw. I have a 660 and an Olympyk 999f (103cc heavy metal) I always take the 440 when I go out but rarely need to use it. Soooo, I now have 1 more saw that I don't need.
Opposite side of the state from where you are. Iowa City. Born there and move to MN in 1981.Where did you grow up ?
I bet you do; however, they make good loaner saws. NO, you can't borrow them...I have cash in hand to help you with your 346 disposal.
