There was a time when my parents would drive across the Jefferson Barracks bridge to a shop and get hard salami to send to RVN.

It would arrive coated in green mold. Peel off the casing and together with the crackers from the box and our warm beer my squad had a party. [emoji108]

We did try to hide it from our platoon sgt. (E7) but he was undeterred having spent time in Germany.

Clean up on aisle 029 today. Getting down to the short strokes.

Maybe....my rule of thumb is, any visible defect on the outside of a log will probably be worse inside...
Twist can be anywhere from not a problem, to total garbage lumber.

I always tell people, "good logs usually make good lumber, and bad logs usually don't".

She was mostly across the intersection when he hit her. He lived, she didn’t. Hopefully, he spends some time in jail for it.

We had a local cop drunk do basically the same thing in A hellcat. Killed 1, maimed the other two. He’s been out on bond for over a year now still waiting on court. He ran a stop sign in excess of 100 in town and tboned some poor family. Killed the wife. Hope that is more fair than this has been here.

A cop, driving drunk, speeding, and killing innocent people...... that's hypocrisy right there....

Jail is maybe too good for people that do that kinda stuff....

This world is a sad mess.

All the neighbors took the troopers aside and explained how this was the kid that had been reported so many times by locals for insane driving habits.. it was a “we told you so” moment... with the kid’s past record, one of the troopers was thinking the prosecution may be persuaded to seek some jail time.. I told him I didn’t have much faith in that, but go for it if ya can..
