I bought my Echo PPT 2620 from Bruce last year when he had his 15% sale. It’s a good one.
Older echo stuff was DAMN GOOD , haven't fooled with any new stuff .

Best saw on a electric company service truck I ever seen was an echo , I forget how old it was , riding around in that bin bounced around, looked like hell but started and ran perfectly, he had worn out several bars , I believe he still has it and he's been retired 15 years

Bought this 1 owner kept in garage 2000 in bed camper, guy is even delivering it as I have to get tie down kits put on my truck,

He has got to old to use it much .

Now I can camp and take my boat, or ranger ,
Or attend a saw get together LOL

Damn tie down kits is ~900 bucks .

Has on board generator , wet bath ,

May need to air bag my Cummins not sure till I see how it handles.

Have you seen what a new one cost??

Holy hell....

That’s a biggun..

Get the air bags... you’ll not regret it..
and go with the more robust ones. So you can adjust from the cab,

That's pretty slick. I like the idea of these type of campers, compared to a pull behind. I'd be curious how it makes a pickup handle. How much does it weigh, do you know?

My auction buy ($40) Stihl's doing fine in spite of how bad it gets treated. There was something about hi prices?
Nope, I get mine for free,

People get pissed off at them for bad carb and they just give me them .

All my sting trimmers are freebies other than new carbs or a part, clutch sometimes.

But all in all I like Husqvarna better.

But I sold every one I had, have 1 Sthil, 1 echo

Oh, that's a lot lighter than I thought. It looks huge. That shouldn't be bad at all, as long as it isn't windy.
The outer shell is 2 pieces of laminated fiberglass,

This one also has turtle shell storage on top , that adds weight but not sure how much

Mostly parts not available from the aftermarket.

‘Igor the Hunchback’ got a new fuel tank.

I ran across one in VGC! recently from a local buddy $75, scored piston, low compression.
VERY GOOD condition & I told him I'd take it.
I'll meet you in 3 days to grab it, yadda yadda...
He changed his mind in those 3 days!

I dont blame him a bit.

I went out on a limb for ‘Igor’. But, he was a willing runner & cutter w/bar-chain despite the damage.

I'm not a big fan of working on weedeaters.
I compare working on them like working on a Minimac. (Carl knows what I'm talking about).
So I've always went the cheap route on weedeaters. Still had to work on the things so I went to Lowe's and bought an expensive Husqvarna, got it home, pulled the limiter caps and fattened it up. That was 5 years ago. I got the one that would take attachments. It runs a weed head, a chainsaw head, a blower head, a saw blade head, which is NOT OSHA approved and a tiller head. Let me tell you that tiller head is brutal and the power head has operated flawlessly despite the abuse. I like this one because I don't have to work on it.
