For those of you who know Wigglesworth, the tornado in Mayfield KY was about 20 miles from where he lives.

I just texted him and heard back. Said a tornado missed him by 5 miles, the big one by 25. Will be without power for 2-3 days; family is safe!!!

What breed of trailer is that ?

My brother has a 16’ of similar design. With my F-250 that has coil over shocks, it requires damn near perfect placement of his Deere 333, it’s either nose heavy or nose light.

The answer to this is air bags on the truck.

Place the load tongue heavy then pump up the air bags.

Gives the benefit of helping with potential trailer sway and when unloading you can adjust the bumper height to help with your ramp situation.

I won’t own a truck that pulls a heavy trailer without airbags.

It’s just too cheap not to have it.

Take a look at Air Lift. You can even put bags in and just carry an air tank for the lowest cost option.

Sold the gooseneck to a fellow who wanted it WAY more than me a couple days ago. I wanted something with a lower deck to haul the Bobcat on.

20’ with a double frame and 7500# axles..
It’s got those feet on the ramps too. So it supports the weight when loading and unloading.
I may hate it, but I sure do see a lot of guys using them for some reason.. guess we’ll find out.

How bad to you get bent over? Trailers have just about doubled in price...

They would probably be viable option on a better vehicle. No more than I drag that skid loader around I will just stay as is. I only paid $1200 for the pickup it’s an old co-op truck & plow truck.

Evening everybody.
Spent the day at Matt's cutting some hedge firewood. Or, I should say, he did the lions share of cutting. Made 2 trips home with mama's truck. It was a great time and got to see Levi, too.
Don't know what I would've done without the help. Thanks Matt.

Been running one for several years now. If I were to get a different one I would get a goose neck and 10,000lb axles. Borrowed on once and loved pulling it.

Hedge likes to exact its payment in blood usually.

Too bad Thomas wasn’t here to get his yearly bruising and blood letting..
