Howdy all haven't been around much here lately. Lots of things going on. We have a couple major blessings in the works that I thought I would share. First of all my daughter's and I are in the process of starting a restaurant that's located in a local hotel. It does have a separate lounge and 2 conjoining banquet rooms that will accommodate 100 people. There is also a brand new sleep inn that was finished up last year that puts another 20000+people at my front door per year. I have actually ran this establishment successfully in the past for several different owners, the difference this time is it will be owned by myself and daughter's! Secondly Darick called me the other day and told me that we have been blessed with a spanking new Norwood Lumbermate 29 bandsaw Mill! We will be paying for it through some trade out and such but it has been ordered and I'd on its way!!! Looks like we are going to be very busy this coming year!!! Hope everyone is well I will try to catch up on the oils posts as soon as I get the chance....... Be blessed!

Spent all day putting the project truck back together. Boys, I'm tired tonight. Still have some more to go tomorrow, yet. Finish putting the drive accessories on the front of the engine, figure out the vacuum lines, plug wires and such. Before I button it up I'll put in a new 2 core radiator. Get rid of the single core. Time to go take a hot shower and eat a bottle of Tylenol. :)

For the Stihl heads amongst you:

I can burn some copies of the Stihl 2012 mediaCat DVD and bring them along to Fort Scott.

I'm still learning how to use it.

Once again, I want a "love" button in addition to the "like" button. That was hilarious.

Well I would love to playing with chainsaws, firearms and boats right now with the family... But, being as I'm TDY again, swimming in the ocean off of Fort Story about 10yds out from a pod of dolphins was pretty damn neat for a kid from BFE... I could almost get used to that if not for the weather, drivers, lack of privacy and plain rudeness around here... That is all.

Eat some fresh seafood while you are there. I went to a fresh seafood market on a pier about 2 hours from you (Chincoteague Island). They cooked (steam, boiled, or broiled) anything you picked out, fresh from the ocean. I had a giant lobster and the biggest shrimp I ever seen. A boat pulled in and they brought us raw oysters right off the boat; I tell you that so you will know how fresh the seafood was. The place was not fancy, a couple of sides to pick from (corn on the cob and cole slaw IIRC), and nothing fried; we ate outside on the pier. A meal I will never forget; Red Lobster will never be the same again.

I don't understand the fascination with raw oysters. I had a couple and thought "not much flavor and kinda gross going down but not too bad". Then, I had a third, and it was bad, which I understand can happen. I ran to the rail and started heaving. I would sit back down and just thinking about it sent me back to the rail. My cousins, whom lived there, were laughing their freaking heads off. I told them "If I lose my lunch, I'm kicking your ass, and you are paying for my lunch, then we are coming back tomorrow". I held it in and everybody got a good laugh. Fun times and fantastic food.
