How is the road construction thru Kansas City? I need to go to Manhattan KS next week for work. I35 to I70 was my plan. Pulling a 14 ft enclosed trailer.

'Fred' came by with the J-red 630 I'd sold to him. Muffler was trying to jump ship. Fixed it with 6mm studs and self locking nuts.

Left a Wildthing for my trouble. Turned out to be junk. Scored.

Avoid 435 north from 70 by the ball parks. They are tinkering with bridges from 35 south to 70.

Shouldn't be necessary to go that way.

Thanks. Good to know. Last time I went thru downtown KC I35 was a mess. Took awhile to get to The boat show.

435 makes a complete circle around KC. 635 is a sort of cutoff from 29 to 35 south on the Kansas side.

670? I dunno.

Most every day they kill someone on the arterial highways down there. Stay off from 2-7 pm and 6-10 am.

Be aware they will move from the far left lane to any exit at any moment.

Wife and I were raised in KC area. She in Raytown, me in Prairie Village, Ks. I remember when 435 was 2 lane each direction. Started at 35 on the north side, ended at 35 out by Olathe. And it was out in the country. Haven't lived there for 37 years now. Don't miss it, great training for NASCAR though.

I had some people very upset with me when I didn't get over so they could merge onto I635. Also seen a few guns waving around in KC. They either didn't like my driving or didn't like my Illinois license plates.

Traffic thru Chicago is worse.
